Jeffrey Knight, LI 5270, BPAT 4603, CIC, CLIA, CID
Jeffrey has over 26 years of irrigation experience and has developed the successful method of instruction used by WETS today. He was an irrigation contractor for 11 years prior to being one of the first approved TCEQ training providers. The scope of his business encompassed the design and installation of drip irrigation systems ranging from small flower beds to large orchards and vineyards.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Secondary Education from West Texas A&M University and has obtained the following industry licenses and certifications: Texas Licensed Irrigator, Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester, IA Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA) and IA Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC) and Certified Irrigation Designer (CID).
He has been an Irrigation Trainer since 1997, with specialties in Irrigation Design, Irrigation Troubleshooting and Drip Systems. His dynamic and entertaining speaking style has him in high demand for seminars and training workshops all over the nation. Many state and local irrigation associations and municipalities have relied on Jeffrey’s expertise and engaging teaching style for their training.
He has authored the books, Irrigation Basics and The Irrigation Technician Manual, which are approved manuals for the landscape Irrigation Training Course and the Irrigation Technician Course in Texas. The WETS method of instruction has a proven track record for success. In his 19 years of instruction he has helped thousands of students become Licensed Irrigators and Technicians in Texas and hundreds more learn advanced techniques to expand their businesses.
